Sissèle, Château Saint-Esteve, AOC Corbières, 2023

An elegant and expressive white from the heart of the Languedoc. Produced in the rugged hills of the Corbières, this is a rich yet beautifully balanced wine, opening with aromas of ripe pear, white peach and citrus zest, layered with delicate floral notes and a subtle touch of brioche and spice from some gentle oak ageing. The palate is rounded and textured, lifted by fresh acidity. Smooth, elegant and quietly complex and really showcases the depth and sophistication now possible for a Corbières blanc.
