Tuile, Château Viaudiere, AOP Anjou, 2018

From vines planted by the families ancestors over a century ago, this wine has a particular sentimental value to Pierre Antoine and Agnes. They only harvest the grapes when they are at optimal maturity to obtain the soft tannins, solid structure and the generous fruit that characterises this wine.

Maceration occurs over a 12day period in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to bring out the flavours of lightly spiced red fruits and the minerality of their schist soil. On the palate you will find ripe berry flavours of raspberry and cassis along with notes of leather, cloves and violets on a long finish.
